Dear descendants of Domithilde and Ferdinando,

The members of the «Association des Scalabrini d’Amérique» are preparing a wonderful celebration for you, «Celebration 2025».

Celebration 2025? It’s the 25^th anniversary of the great gathering of the descendants of Ferdinando Scalabrini and Domithilde Racicot, «Retrouvailles 2000». The perfect opportunity to celebrate the history of our great family, especially for the young people born since «Retrouvailles 2000».

A brief look back at «Retrouvailles 2000»: Meeting of 625 descendants in Sainte-Edwidge-de-Clifton; publication of a magnificent book on the Scalabrini family, «Ferdinando Scalabrini, deux continents, une histoire»; and the founding of the «Association des Scalabrini d’Amérique», a year and a half later.

What date should you mark in your diary? August 16, 2025.

Location: In the Eastern Townships, Sainte-Edwidge-de-Clifton.

Who is invited to the party? All the descendants of Ferdinando and Domithilde, and their household.

The President of the «Association des Scalabrini d’Amérique» is Bertrand Scalabrini, and the President of the Celebration 2025 Organizing Committee is Pierre Goulet.

As information becomes available, your association will keep you informed. The preferred vehicles are: the association’s website, the private Facebook account, its members’ newsletter, mass email, and of course word of mouth.

Our sincere thanks to the many volunteers who are already hard at work. If you are not part of the volunteer team and have some time available, you are invited to join us to make this great celebration a success. For those who wish to make a donation, you will soon be informed on how to do so.
