Ferdinando, Joseph, Augustin, Germain, and Jeannine Lessard
In Sherbrooke, on January 18, 2026, Jeannine Lessard passed away at the age of 77, she was the daughter of the late Anne-Marie St-Pierre and the late Léopold Lessard. Originally from Quebec City and living in Bromptonville, she was the wife of Germain Scalabrini (son of the late Irène Perreault and the late Augustin Scalabrini).
Jeannine has been involved in several aspects of the «Association des Scalabrini d’Amérique» since the beginning, she has also served on the board of directors as secretary. Thank you Jeannine for your priceless collaboration and your good humor.
Jeannine is survived by her children; the late Yan; Jean-Philippe (Jessica); her grandchildren, Alyssa-Kim and Kaylie-Rose; her brothers and sisters of the Lessard family; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Scalabrini family, André (Huguette), the late Roger (late Annette Côté), Lucille (late Laurent), the late Marcel (late Cécile), Carmen (late Gaétan), Lorraine, the late Raymond (Carmelle) and the late Maurice (Carole); her nephews and nieces as well as many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences from relatives and friends on Friday, February 13, from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm, and Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 9 am, at the Steve L. Elkas Funeral Complex located at 4230 Bertrand-Fabi Street in Sherbrooke. A Liturgy will follow at 11am at the chapel of the same place.
