Ferdinando. Alfred, Aldéa, Yvette Hébert and Roger Roy

The Scalabrini family just lost another one of their own during the holiday season. Roger Roy died at his home in Coaticook on December 20, 2024, aged 73. He was the husband of Yvette Hébert, daughter of late Aldéa Scalabrini (late Alfred Scalabrini and late Alphonsine Masson) and late Lucien Hébert.

We offer our deepest condolences to his wife, Yvette. Roger leaves behind his two daughters, Sandra (Steve Devost) and Sonia (Martin Dion); his four grandchildren: Victoria (Mathys), Edouard, Maxyme and Jean-David; and the Roy family. He was the brother-in-law of the late Gérard (late Lucille Baillargeon), the late Jean (Hilda Mosher). Also in mourning: her godson Alexandre and several nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at the Centre funéraire coopératif de la région de Coaticook, 284, Child Street, Coaticook, Qc, J1A 2B7, on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 2 pm to 4 pm. A farewell ceremony will be held at the same location at 4:00 p.m.

As a sympathy donation to the Fondation de l’Hôpital de Coaticook, 138 Jeanne-Mance Street, Coaticook, QC, J1A 1W3, or to the Club des Lions de Coaticook, P.O. Box 141, Coaticook, QC, J1A 2S9, would be appreciated by the family.The family would like to thank the Partage St-François, Ma Cabane and La Chaudronnée for their support and reassuring presence.

By way of sympathy, a donation to one of these organizations would be greatly appreciated.
